I can’t wait to watch The Best tonight. I adore Maya! I’m not a New Yorker but I hope Maya wins the Mayoral race. She is well qualified for the position and I just love the way you two interact with each other. You bring out the best in her!! Love when you make her smile with your rap references! Good luck to Maya!

If I am home in time , I will watch. I've been waiting for this interview Ari. I wish I could vote for her. It was your show that brought Maya the Dynamo to my attention and resultant admiration. I rarely put personal things in posts but if I was not gay, I would have a crush on her.

Looking forward all week for your interview,Ari, with Maya! She is well spoken, highly intelligent and perfect for the job. She is “real”… she cares and listens. Very trustworthy. If I lived in NYC I would definitely vote for Maya Wiley.

I have always looked forward to to Maya's contributions on MSNBC and The Beat. She brings something new to the table in every discussion. I love her insights, thoughtfulness and experience. Watching her campaign through my old stomping grounds, connecting with New Yorkers the way only she can has been a thrill for me. I wish her the best of the luck, and, yeah, I could see her in the White House!

Her analysis of legal issues is straight on and easy to understand. She's intelligent, well-spoken and knows her field. Would like to see her win as I think she would be very good for NYC. Waiting to see you both later today

Yes, I enjoyed all those months you introduced us to her. She is a fine example of a leader showing many skills as well as empathy. A great role model. Canadian but if I could vote I would choose Maya first and only.

You asked for suggestions for ice cream names that describe 2020. I have several. 1) CONSPIRACY CARAMEL...Caramel ice cream with a LOT of nuts in it. 2) LOCKDOWN LEMON...Lemon Sherbet completely surrounded and isolated by graham crackers. 3) DOUBLE JAB JAMBOREE...Strawberry ice cream covered with strawberry jam and peppermint candy pieces. 4) MODERNA MELTDOWN...Double chocolate ice cream with chocolate chunks & almonds...You can eat one scoop but you have to wait 28 days to come back and eat your 2nd scoop. 5) CORNONA (virus) ALONA...Plain vanilla ice cream with nothing...and I mean nothing on it. 6) DUMPSTER FIRE DIVINITY...Vanilla ice cream with globs of chocolate fudge & Red Hot candy sprinkles that will burn your tongue! And lastly.......7) ANTI-VAX VANILLA...Vanilla swirl ice cream you have to eat with a plastic spoon instead of a metal one because IT'S BEEN MAGNETIZED!!

I'm not a New Yorker, but I would be thrilled to vote for Maya. I hold her in high esteem as well and she is very capable of being the next Mayor of NYC. I am cheering her on! I do miss seeing her on The Beat with you, but I hope to see her come on more after she becomes Mayor.
