Although it was different, I figured it to be you…And you’re right, so much was going on, it was hard to focus, not that I’m putting you in MY category. When I finally got on (visibly), only about 20-25 minutes of the original hour was left. Being a stickler for punctuality, I felt out of sync those remaining minutes, but stayed connected, to not show disrespect, by leaving early. Sandra O, and I believe you, spoke to me, but I was too petrified to respond, thinking l would be disruptive to the proceedings. Didn’t realize until the end, that it would have been OK. Said it was like a train, coming through the house-that she was grasping for dear life. I will definitely be watching the live hearings! Your interviews with Peter Navarro were outstanding. He felt "safe" to lay out everything he was up to! And he was shocked that he was arrested and put in cuffs and a cell! It shows how much these people feel above the law. He, and all involved, deserve the highest punishment allowed for their crimes. I tired of these people saying it is "their" country etc. But great job Ari on getting him to talk to you.
I would love to know why he thinks he can impeach Biden. People are down on Biden and I do not know why. He was handed a hornets nest. #45 didn't even have the decency to attend Bidens Swearing in. As far as I am concerned #45, Navarro, Bannon, Eastman and MANY more all need to be in jail. Any President that would suggest ingesting bleach or shooting protestors in the legs has only one place to be, in jail. I (reluctantly) watched Mr Navarro last night on Fox. What an absolute joke. Tucker Carlson made Mr Navarro out to be this poor little 72 yr old is being “picked on” for doing his job and claiming he wasn’t there on January 6th. Of course Mr Navarro didn’t go into what his activities were leading up to January 6th.

The second half of my thought process (such as it is) about these hearings is that I'm worried too many of us have tuned out already. Polls show that fewer people recognize Trump's culpability now than did so right after January 6. They also show that more and more Americans just want to move on so we can focus on the economy, Ukraine, abortion rights, gun rights, etc. And, although I think "theatrics" normally would be in poor taste in a situation such as this, I'm afraid some drama is going to be required to grab America's collective attention. I worry that outside of Washington, too many people don't understand the gravity - the reality - of this situation. And, face it, if it doesn't affect them directly, they are less likely to give a damn.
Agree and seeing how the Depp Heard trial went on and on and became cumbersome, doesn't mean the public is ready to focus on another one. People are just spread too thin. I'll watch as much as I can.

I will definitely watch these J6 hearings because the whole country needs to know what Trump and all his cronies tried to do to keep him in power. We have had legitimate elections for many many years and this one person comes into our government and starts breaking laws and telling poisonous lies to create such a hatred to many people. He is a danger, along with a certain number of those Republican individuals, to what our forefathers put together when they designed the constitution, democracy, and the rule of law. We all thought President Nixon was bad for what he did but Trump surpasses him in the evil department by a long shot. WE HAVE TO STOP THEM!!!!!
I've already alerted my family that I will be watching the hearings. My phone, doorbell, and computer will be in "DO NOT DISTURB" mode to everyone unless they have a life or death emergency that requires my attention. I was struck by Mr. Navarro's statement that he will try to "impeach Biden and weaponize investigations against opponents." It sounds as if he still thinks Donald Trump has his back, and that's unfortunate. But, I wonder, specifically what he mans by "weaponize" investigations...interesting terminology.
Of course I'll be watching, not just for the content but *how* it's presented. I'm curious to see if that could possibly change anyone's mind. Then again, the people who should really be seeing this might choose to watch Fox News instead...
I will be watching the hearings & sharing key points on my fb & Twitter feeds. I'm hoping that ppl who aren't paying attention will watch the hearings and that it will prompt them to vote BLUE in November. I'm not typically a very political person. I have been moved by the trump years to be active in elections. I have attended protests, phone banked, written letters & postcards, I've donated to campaigns. This time around, I'm canvassing for Michigan Democrats. I feel strongly that this is a pivotal time in our history - I am not sitting this one out. I hope others are equally motivated.

OH, Bernie, I can’t even imagine that. A friend of mine was visiting Kenner, LA last year, when a Hurricane came inland and OVER them. She was still shaking, as she told me about it days later. Said it was like a train, coming through the house-that she was grasping for dear life. Fortunately, the house held, as her daughter had built it with a generator and other necessities, but it’s just one’s blessings, should they get through it. Your ordeal sounds similar, and I’m sorry you experienced that! I pray that you get settled and able to catch up on your sleep. I’m so glad you’re safe, although ‘shakenly’ well. I will definitely be watching the live hearings! Your interviews with Peter Navarro were outstanding. He felt "safe" to lay out everything he was up to! And he was shocked that he was arrested and put in cuffs and a cell! It shows how much these people feel above the law. He, and all involved, deserve the highest punishment allowed for their crimes. I tired of these people saying it is "their" country etc. But great job Ari on getting him to talk to you.
I would love to know why he thinks he can impeach Biden. People are down on Biden and I do not know why. He was handed a hornets nest. #45 didn't even have the decency to attend Bidens Swearing in. As far as I am concerned #45, Navarro, Bannon, Eastman and MANY more all need to be in jail. Any President that would suggest ingesting bleach or shooting protestors in the legs has only one place to be, in jail. There are several in the Republican party that need to be removed form office and barred from ever holding a political office. I am going to try to watch on Thurday but to be honest I don't know if I can. I will be interested in your take on all of it. Keep up the good work Ari I really appreciate it.
There is no reason and they don't feel like they need a legitimate reason. It's for revenge and it's disgusting. Also, not only did he not attend the inauguration (which I was fine with), but he made sure to not have a peaceful transfer of power. Utterly disgusting!

I (reluctantly) watched Mr Navarro last night on Fox. What an absolute joke. Tucker Carlson made Mr Navarro out to be this poor little 72 yr old is being “picked on” for doing his job and claiming he wasn’t there on January 6th. Of course Mr Navarro didn’t go into what his activities were leading up to January 6th.
I would love to be able to watch #45 squirm as he sees what unfolds. But, I’m sure he go on a rant that it’s just a witch hunt

The second half of my thought process (such as it is) about these hearings is that I'm worried too many of us have tuned out already. Polls show that fewer people recognize Trump's culpability now than did so right after January 6. They also show that more and more Americans just want to move on so we can focus on the economy, Ukraine, abortion rights, gun rights, etc. And, although I think "theatrics" normally would be in poor taste in a situation such as this, I'm afraid some drama is going to be required to grab America's collective attention. I worry that outside of Washington, too many people don't understand the gravity - the reality - of this situation. And, face it, if it doesn't affect them directly, they are less likely to give a damn.
Agree and seeing how the Depp Heard trial went on and on and became cumbersome, doesn't mean the public is ready to focus on another one. People are just spread too thin. I'll watch as much as I can.
I think Mr. Navarro, lives in his own world, just listening to him makes my ears hurt, let him continue to act the way he does and the treats he makes. I will definitely watch these J6 hearings because the whole country needs to know what Trump and all his cronies tried to do to keep him in power. We have had legitimate elections for many many years and this one person comes into our government and starts breaking laws and telling poisonous lies to create such a hatred to many people. He is a danger, along with a certain number of those Republican individuals, to what our forefathers put together when they designed the constitution, democracy, and the rule of law. We all thought President Nixon was bad for what he did but Trump surpasses him in the evil department by a long shot. WE HAVE TO STOP THEM!!!!!

I've already alerted my family that I will be watching the hearings. My phone, doorbell, and computer will be in "DO NOT DISTURB" mode to everyone unless they have a life or death emergency that requires my attention. I was struck by Mr. Navarro's statement that he will try to "impeach Biden and weaponize investigations against opponents." It sounds as if he still thinks Donald Trump has his back, and that's unfortunate. But, I wonder, specifically what he mans by "weaponize" investigations...interesting terminology.
Of course I'll be watching, not just for the content but *how* it's presented. I'm curious to see if that could possibly change anyone's mind. Then again, the people who should really be seeing this might choose to watch Fox News instead...
I will be watching the hearings & sharing key points on my fb & Twitter feeds. I'm hoping that ppl who aren't paying attention will watch the hearings and that it will prompt them to vote BLUE in November. I'm not typically a very political person. I have been moved by the trump years to be active in elections. I have attended protests, phone banked, written letters & postcards, I've donated to campaigns. This time around, I'm canvassing for Michigan Democrats. I feel strongly that this is a pivotal time in our history - I am not sitting this one out. I hope others are equally motivated.

Ari, previously, I thought Navarro was interviewing with you in an attempt to recruit non-supporters to his side, and for messaging the DOJ. However, in your last interview, I detected fear over arrogance, for the first time. Your “they can hear you” comment to him was funny and sad, that he spent years educating himself and has succumbed to this social/political/legal level.
