Hi Ari, Thanks for this post. I think our President needs to take control of the conversation, and the Press needs to stop covering Donald Trump. He’s no longer our president. Why is he having a press conference? We all know why. He’s been open about undermining the rules of democracy and decency, he attempted a coup and thank God failed, so why are we giving him air time? Covering him gives him a platform. We are helping him. That seems quite destructive does it not? If we show fear, it will be perceived as weakness. If we are in reaction, it will not only be seen as weakness, because it is weakness. All Dems must act as one. What is our conversation? In my opinion, our conversation is about fear. We need to change that conversation to one of confidence, unity, resistance, and making Trump and those who stand with him, look like the small stuff they are. We are the Majority! Let’s start sounding like it! We know what they are, it need not be repeated, what needs to be repeated is what we are, the not so silent majority that rules the land.
Thanks Ari for always speaking the truth and keeping the uninformed updated on what is happening. But it's getting very difficult to approach the anniversary of the insurrection, and see the masterminds of this attempted coup still running free. They are continuing to make plans to destroy our country and our democracy. God protect us!!!🙏

I am going to cut to the chase about January 6th 2021: I want all the insurrectionists and traitors to be punished no matter who they are in society. "No one is above the law" means nothing if the perpetrators are not held accountable.
As American people or rather human beings, who are taught right from wrong, who are supposed to obey the law, follow the rules, regulations, policies etc., when one deviates from right, there are consequences. The consequences should not be meant for certain people…it should be for everyone including rich white men and government officials whether federal or state level.
I see that today, all government officials (Pelosi, Schumer etc.) in Washington remember this dreadful day from a year ago and gave their speeches and all that. After the remembering and reflecting January 6th, what is next? We are now in 2022, when exactly are they (DOJ and whoever) will hold all these people accountable and send them to prison?
The Republicans can deny, deflect and pretend that their lives were not in danger on that day. On that day, they left the House and Senate chambers and were hiding underneath their desks or taking cover somewhere. Everyone in the world, not just Americans saw the insurrection playing out in our screens…there is no interpretation of what we saw or what happened required.
Since I have not given up on America, our government and democracy, I am patiently waiting for accountability….hopefully not for long.

I watched your show earlier today. I couldn’t believe the lies spewing out of Peter Navarro’s mouth. It’s so frightening to think how many politicians and everyday folks who continue to buy into these lies. I hope and pray that all the “planners” of 1/6/21 are held accountable and locked up.

The frustrating thing is that the Democrats aren't pushing the truth with the same force the Republicans are pushing the lie. The Democrats need to stop being the "nice" guys and get out there loudly with the truth and put down the liars to their faces.
First, I wish you a healthy and safe New Year with many more stellar accomplishments to come. Your synopsis here reminds me of the quote “Hell is empty and all the devils are here.” (Shakespeare, The Tempest, Act 1, Scene 2.) (Also, title of the 4th album by Anaal Nathrakh.) Of the many explanations of what we are experiencing, this is as good as any.
I hope that justice and goodness will prevail. That’s my New Year’s wish for our country.
We must celebrate President Biden’s accomplishments. Always focusing on the right is demoralizing our voters because they get the impression the government is in chaos which isn’t the case. The GOP is in chaos but government continue to further.

2021, a mob of supporters of President Donald Trump attacked our Nation's Capitol in Washington, D.C. They sought to overturn his defeat in the 2020 pressidential election by disrupting the joint session of Congress assembled to count electoral votes that would formalize then President elect Joe Biden. The Nation witnessed the mob that broke through the Capitol doors and windows, attacked law enforcement, and vandalized the building. Five people as a result of the attack died and at least 140 police officers were assaulted. A makeshift gallows with a noose was buit on the Capitol grounds meant for vice President Pence, but thank God it was never used. Many of the Republicans are increasely comfortable of winning at any cost whether it is stealing, lying, cheating or murder if necessary. The 1/6 truthers still believe that what they did was alright. And now that a committee is moving forward with the investigation, many of those who are involved or have information are running or ducking , refushing to meet with the committee . A year is approaching and only a few have been sentenced so forth. I always believe that if you have nothing to hide what is the problem for all these people who have been doing everything to block, run, duck or trying to get judges, courts to rescue them. Remember no misdeed/s goes unpunished. Sooner or later there will be no escape and justice will be served one by one.
