Give Bannon the max on each count, to be served consecutively. 2 years in the slammer is still a pretty light sentence for all of the damage this slug has done to the country.
The loudmouth should get the maximum: 2 years in jail
And so should Navarro not too long after
It is time to go to the cashier to pay debts owed !!!!
He should do the max. And not in a country club prison. People like him lie to achieve power, money, and a soapbox. Those privileges should be minimized because he used them to destroy our democracy.
I believe he deserves the maximum + since his history of illegal behavior. He must be made an example for what’s to come in the future. This lawlessness is not over. We need to clean house.
Lock Him Up! Lock Him Up! Preferably in a cell next to his pal Donny T.
Hi Ari!!! This loudmouth should definitely get the maximum 2 years. He has gotten away with way too much already. Shout out to the whistle guy, he didn't shut him up, but was fun to watch.😚
Good luck today on your prison reform event. Thank you for continuing to fight for justice. Be safe.🙏
As John Flannery said, we've crossed the rubicon. I think he should be given the 𝙢𝙖𝙭𝙞𝙢𝙪𝙢 punishment. Let's rattle Navarro, and those other clowns with a Bannon example!
The maximum is not enough. Firstly, his poisonous rhetoric is far reaching and secondly. any more witnesses coming forward need to see how serious defiance of this investigation is.
Maximum, of course. Thanks for all your great coverage.
Ari, while I would love to Bannon given two years, no concurrent service, that is unlikely. That said, it would be great if there was at least a minimum of two six months sentencing, consequently a full year in prison. Can’t happen to a nicer fella. Thank you for you ongoing work, passion, balanced reporting, and legal analysis.
I wish he would receive the maximum sentence because of his willful defiance of the law however I doubt that he does. His guilt in a court of law is slight compensation. I don’t pretend to be unbiased when it comes to the planners of the January 6th insurrection. It’s probably good I am not a judge
Mr. Bannon is somewhat like a petulant child. In fact, I have five grandchildren under the age of 6, and I see him fitting into their play group quite nicely. Except that Mr. Bannon is dangerous. His mission in life is to destroy our government - through his War Room podcast, with his public speeches, and even with his courthouse steps antics. These convictions won't stop him, but maybe putting him in jail or prison for a couple years would give the country a breather that it so desperately needs. Aside from that, his defiance of the subpoena was willful and arrogant. It was an "educated" choice. I like the idea of Mr. Bannon getting the maximum sentence on each charge, to be served consecutively.
After having grifted the public for the “wall” and having been pardoned, Bannon basically, returned to the scene of the crime and committed even more egregious acts. Consequently, he deserves the full extent of the law, two years, in this case. I hope Joyce Vance is wrong about serving out the time in jail over prison. If it’s jail, let it be the cruddiest one in DC, with the harshest criminals housed.
I’d give him 2 years. He needs time to consider his contribution in this fiasco. I loved Joyce’s comment about the guy with the whistle making more sense than he did. Still laughing this morning. Thank you for your great work, Ari
For the true meaning of justice for the all the damage he’s inflicted on our country, he should get the max sentence of 2 years. He’s a traitor, coward and really not all that bright. Won’t get into how disgusting he always looks...🤢. But, being a white male, the 2 years won’t happen. It’s just so important to send a strong message right now. What happens to Bannon, Navarro, the other criminal Trump cronies, along with Trump himself is going to determine this country’s fate for the future. I’m praying for a bright, optimistic future with vermin like them far, far away. Great coverage as always Ari.
Maximum for Bannon because he doesn't believe in laws and Meadows has to start testifying too.
