Congratulations on your increased viewership! You are growing, Ari, because people are hungry for factual information. You work hard to give us that, and we respond to you by watching.

Here’s what I think about Tacopina’s defense of Trump. Have you seen Trump lately? His weariness tells me that HE knows Tacopina doesn’t have a defense. It was evidenced by his attacks on the “justice system” and “Cohen being a convicted liar and having a credibility problem.” It is a repeated phrase by legal analysts and commentators about Michael Cohen. However, but for Cohen’s testimony in the congressional hearing (2018), there would be no New York cases against Trump for anything, I believe. The legal community questioned if Cohen would flip; once he flipped and went to jail, he now, has no credibility. Well, prosecutors don’t flip the innocents, they flip accomplices, co-conspirators, and yes--Criminals! Ask Weisselberg!

Further, Democrats keep worrying about the country “becoming” devided, should Trump be charged. Only Democrats speak to such fear; Republicans only mention it to stroke that fear. It suggests a hesitancy and feebleness, in pursuing justice.

I’m no expert here, but this is how an expert trial attorney conducts himself? His reaching to take the evidence out of your hands says plenty. Once again, you handled a questionable figure masterfully. Thanks to your razor sharp interview skills with Navarro, the Jan 6 committee had important incriminating evidence in their hands. Does the DA’s office have any new incriminating evidence to use now? And it’s because of this type of reporting, along with everything else you bring to the table that you have so many viewers across all media! We all appreciate YOU!!

Hi Ari nice interview with Tapaconi but he didn’t do his client any favours flip flopping he didn’t lie but he didn’t tell the truth and it’s not a lie if your protecting your interests, I’m the furthest thing from a lawyer and even I know you don’t do a live interview unless your sure of the outcome and especially if your doing it with Ari Melber, anyway I enjoyed how you put him in his place. P.S please let us know if he’s fired.😂

Of course he is a criminal. Anyone who pays attention knows this. Why we are all still waiting for justice is criminal as well. The Trump lawyer is a joke and he came across as a true gibroni as far as I could tell. Where does he find "dees" guys? He was aggressive and shows his ignorance when he says " I believe in him" Really? Then you just crawled out from under a rock. But it was an exclusive event Ari and I'm so glad I didn't miss it. Nice job!!

Tacopina has to know that Trump is all about lying, and I think that's perfectly okay with Tacopina. It would be nice if your interview would be used as evidence against Trump. Tacopina and Trump. Both awful!

Hi Ari, Good evening and Happy Fri-YAY!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, the only day that we allowed to be Irish ☘️😃

First, congratulations on your continued success in your TV ratings…I love your show and I always tune in…I even listen to The Beat’s podcast.

Second, excellent interview with Trump’s defense lawyer. You were so awesome👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

In my opinion, I think that there’s more to this “hush money”…covering illegal activity and/ or crime up?🤷🏽‍♀️ “If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck”.

Also Tacopina blaming the previous Trump’s lawyer (Cohen) is so lame.

What did you think of Mr. Tacopina’s defense of Trump?

Tacopina did not defend Trump, he came to your show and just jumped around your questions and presented Trump as a victim which he is clearly not. How come everyone in Trump’s circle has been indicted, convicted and/ or went to jail? Trump is a saint? Ha!

He might be the former U.S. President and his potential indictment is going to be unprecedented but who cares? Trump has been committing crimes for decades.

Trump must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

And we will see what happens…

Have a nice weekend, Ari😃😃😃

Keep going and soaring higher and higher 😃😃😃

Cheers🍾🥂

Ari - you are amazing! I have only said that to one other person and in a different context, so you are in a very exclusive club! What you did to Tacopina should go down in history as a class video for all future law students -- as an example of what a serious Defense Attorney should NOT be.

I would imagine he's in it for what he hopes will be a giant payoff... good luck there! I cannot believe that if he represents trump in court that he would win his case. And, I cannot help but believe he was scraping the sludge off the bottom of the barrel in referencing a "confidentiality agreement" relative to the reporter asking trump about Stormy-gate, and the "No" answer, simply trying to justify trump's obvious lie. It may have been a "legal" answer to your question, but it sure sounded sleezy to me. I guess I'm accustomed to your straight-forward outlining of the fact /evidence that the rest of us have to deal with. About all I can say further is that if it is in fact a "Gemini" tatoo on Tacopina's right arm/wrist, it fits - he's a fast talker to say the least, and Gemini is the sign of communication. His problem is that communication is a two way street.

And, Ari, you knew when to shut him down. If you were a matador, there would be a very dead bull at your feet! Bravo!!

(It's Fallback Friday... gonna lose the tie?)

I thought Tacopina's "defense" is pretty thin gruel and kind of grasping at straws (if not pieces of paper). One of the things Trump lawyers seem to have in common is that very little of what they say makes any sense, but that's just my simple-minded opinion. Juries and judges may well have the last word on that.

Bada-bing Bada-boom! Hey Joe, why you grabbin' for that paper in Ari's hand? You really did "draw blood" from Trump's new pit bull barrister in your usual, masterful way. Just like Peter Navarro's "moment" on your show, you draw these guys out by giving them just enough rope to hang themselves. Amazing job! And congrats that "The Beat" outranked everything else on MSNBC to take top honors. Well deserved!

I thought Trumps lawyer was talking pretty fast and that always makes me wonder if people are lying when they do that. Many of the republicans that were involved in some way with the 1/6 plot are fast talkers as well.

Congratulations, you tore him apart. I liked it so much that I have it playing on a loop.

Hello Ari,

To paraphrase Biggie somewhat: "Now [you] in the limelight 'cause [you] rhyme tight/ Time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade." CONGRATS on *beating* an almost 30-year history! You and your team are doing your thing, and so many of us are grateful for the work you all do day in day out to keep us informed (and to also help us keep from losing our damn minds at times! lol 😩).

One of the things I've noticed is that you and The Beat team do not limit yourselves to just traditional mediums, but have also extended your reach to such things as YouTube, Tik Tok, Twitter etc. etc. Y'all put in the work! 👏🏾 #hardworkpaysoff.

Also, tRump's attorney has certainly become a punch line. Colbert had me cracking up; wonder what SNL will do? 🤔 Ha! So a lie is not a lie if it's not under oath and/or if it is done in the name of preserving a confidential settlement agreement??? Ohhh-kayyyyyyyyy then. As a lawyer, I expect he would know better than that; but, I'm no lawyer so what do I know? 🤷🏾‍♀️

Again, CONGRATS and keep up the good work!

CONGRATULATIONS ARI!!!! The Beat has obviously become the program we as viewers have come to feel is fair and accurate reporting. Thank you for allowing the other side to try and plead their case. Yes, every time you have a rght wing mouthpiece, I tend to cringe, but you are ready with your receipts, and your interviews become must see TV. Your interview with Tacopina was no exception. He was so arrogant and tried his best to muddy the evidence waters. His flip floppy answers were so ridiculous. But his viral childish behavior was epic. We were laughing out loud, and could not believe he was actually trying to snatch your "receipts " away from you. 😅

Keep up the good job, thanks again for all you do to keep your audience well informed. We are ready for next week, and beyond.

Have a blessed and safe weekend!!!🙏🤗❤️
