First and foremost, congratulations on getting Navarro to agree to appear on your show again. It was an amazing interview. I watched it again last night, and Im am in awe of your "cross examination" skills. The one answer that stood out to me, was the non answer about VP Harris being able to throw out the next election. He got defensive and never answered your question. But his"not on my radar", and" I have a loyalty to the Constitution and loyalty to the president", were so annoying. My question, what happens if the January 6 Committee is dismantled, if the GOP take over next year? Let's hope not , but with Republicans trying to make voting difficult for so many of us, it's worrisome.

Thanks Ari, great job!!!!👍 Keep on them, they will continue to incriminate themselves!!!

Ari, I admire your skilled questioning of Navarro. You kept him off balance and refused to let him rant unchecked. You exposed the inconsistencies in his answers and repeatedly asked for yes or no answers. I don’t understand Navarro’s motivation for agreeing to be interviewed by you, as each time he self-sabotages. Thank you for opening up more to investigate!

Another stunning interview. I’m most amazed he keeps asking you if you read his reports, as if he wants your acknowledgment that you understand him. He gets annoyed he can’t prevail with you, but I think that shows he respects you and is trying to get your approval. Getting him on the record is great journalism for us- not so good for him. Have an amazing weekend.

I'm sure he respects Ari because he comes off fair. But for the life of me, if I'm criming I'm not going on a show with a lawyer who has a history of getting confessions. That just screams dumb in my opinion. It might be out of respect but I think it's more due to narcissistic behavior....and maybe substances.

It’s arrogance and delusional. He’s a desperate man and seemingly doesn’t have or not following legal advice because a lawyer would tell you don’t talk, no interviews. Really a pathetic figure.

It amazes me how these followers of #45 will just keep denying. Or even how if a subpoena is issued for them they just ignore it. They keep saying executive privilege. Who is the executive they are talking about? I am sure if a subpoena was issued in my name and I ignored it I would be in jail. I had a hard time watching him and his hand gestures. They all think they are above the law. They make me ill. Thank you for your reporting Ari. Keep at them.

I want to know what he is on?? You know how to put him in his place Ari… he just doesn’t have any common sense.. he is way out there.. great show☺️

Well summarized, Mr. Attorney! My parents used to tell us, if our story keeps moving, we were lying. In this interview, Navarro didn’t know about or was not involved in ANY of the things he sees now were possibly criminal behavior…Agree with you and others about the Pence/Harris “meandering.” His hesitation with that question, should suggest to him that his “Sweep” idea was faulty…Don’t feel he’s concerned about EP, at this point. All courts have been a “NO!” Navarro is interviewing to speak to the J6 Committee without going under oath, as if the committee is going to say, “OK, you pass.”

Hi Diva, your comment reminded me about my mom always reminding me, that if you always tell the truth, then you don't have to remember what to say..

Very true. I feel the same about those who keep defying subpoenas. Why would you even need one to tell the truth? Irks me to no end!

Great work, Ari: you are a level-headed interviewer and stay on task. The Navarro interviews have been difficult to watch. As others have noted, it is astounding to watch Navarro go on camera twice and incriminate himself. Is this stupidity or arrogance? Or maybe what the ancient Greeks called "Ate" (AH- tay), a kind of self-delusion that leads a person to ruin...

It's probably all of the above!!!

Peter Navarro is so arrogant. Just like the rest of his fellow insurrectionists. By being so brazen as to actually say what he did out loud and in public, somehow, it is no longer a crime. He kept saying his plan was to send the votes in the swing states back to those states for review by their legislatures. The votes have already been counted numerous times, any fraud claims have been shot down by the courts. They had months to try to prove fraud or irregularities. To no avail. The electors had been finalized and at that point it was over. I think he is lying about the fake electors scheme. It fits right in with his part. It was a conspiracy to overturn the election and he should be tried for that. Great interview Ari!! I appreciate all that you do!! Keep after them.

Even though I mute him Ari, have him on as often as you feel necessary. He is hyper, therefore, easy to corral and get to blab out the truth with your calm and fact laden questioning. The legal system is loving your questions and his creation of his personal noose.

I question his deflection and evasive responses to asking about the role of VP Harris trying the same sweep in a future election. That’s the problem with hypocrisy- it applies to all. I wonder if he truly believes election irregularities occurred. To me it’s like believing the Earth is flat to claim election theft without any evidence. What a strange new world we inhabit. Great interview Ari

He brought up loyalty to the constitution and the president at least a couple of times. Loyalty to the constitution… that’s rich. But also frightening, because I think he truly believes he is loyal to the constitution.

Amazing work again, Mr. Melber!

Right, there are times when people invoke the Constitution to resist a government request, but as discussed, that is on weaker legal footing here.

Ari you again allowed Trump Aide Peter Navarro t0 expose more of the conspiracy to overthrough The United States Government.

I am so thankful for your intelligent interviews and appreciate your good humor and composure.

I watched both interviews and also wondered why you didn’t challenge him on the executive privilege. Snide aside, doesn’t the man have a different tie to wear, or is that his homage to his leader?

Thank You, as always, Ari for your great reporting and interview of Mr Navarro. I just wanted to reach into my TV and strangle him. Remember that song from “Chicago” - “Show them that razzle-dazzle”? I think that’s what he was trying to do! But, needless to say, he is NO match for your brilliant questioning and reporting.

Great song, great musical. I do not believe he's smart enough to pull off a razzle dazzle. No one buys it.
