They tried on January 6, and will not stop until they have the power to be in control completely. So frightening, but they are working very hard to make it happen. God protect us!!!🙏

I’m thinking at the very least, that the outcomes of the DOJ, SDNY, and Georgia investigations will result in Trump not becoming a candidate in 2024, and loss of power over other Republicans. That would be a big accomplishment. Your interviews last two weeks, all of them, sublime as usual!
Hi Ari. What about the lawmakers who also interfered with the peaceful transfer of power? Will Congress be able to expel them or at least keep them from being able to run again?
If Trump is proven to be culpable in sedition charges would he be the next Benedict Arnold in our history? I look forward to seeing how this plays out in our legal system. As always, great coverage Ari
Ari! Nothing really surprises me, but watching your show (on 1.21.2022) enlightened me, as to what these "MEN".. (I CAN think of another word), but will refrain from writing it! I watched intently asking myself... If they're acting like this on National Television, imagine what they MUST really be like when not in the public eye....GOOD GRIEF! These agitators are worse than wild apes, "having-a-go" at someone who they, (wrongly) thought was the weakest.......I will admit, I wasn't expecting how extraordinarily even-toned your voice stayed, during all of their loud rampages & for those who didn't view it was quite volatile, for a moment to say the least!
Put this down to one more thing about Ari that I just learned, he's bloody amazing, as (you all) have known all along! But me, being the NEW-GIRL-ON-THIS-BLOCK for just a few weeks.......I'm still learning exactly what kind of person Ari Melber is!

I like to contrast the Women’s March on this day in 2017 to the Stop the Steal rally on 1/6/21. How is it that 500,000 people could peacefully gather in D.C. to protest the election of Donald Trump, no weapons, no killing, no maiming, and a few thousand Trump supporters could attempt a violent overthrow of a democratically elected President? Clearly, it was a planned insurrection.
All of this is emotionally satisfying, although I'll never understand why the Committee isn't using its inherent subpoena power, which would speed things up substantially.
Overarching , however, is the failure to pass the voting rights bill, which means that barring some miracle, the House and Senate will almost inevitably change hands in November -- leaving two years for Garland to bring any charges as a sidelined president does -- what?
Ari, what is the definition of “force” that meets the requirements for sedition?
I ask as it relates to the act of submitting false electoral results. Are those people committing sedition by attempting to overthrow the government in that manner, as part of a larger coup attempt?
I hear you, Ari and do understand the process; but I want the “pawns” to be made accountable, as well. Surely, they knew that method of entry was wrong. In my pseudo-legal mind, it’s ’Breaking and Entering,’ a felony anywhere, I believe. Yes, we want the leaders dealt with, but this was just too raw-too disrespectful of our Constitution-the very instrument that maneuver us through all this craziness.
