Now, when will the Committee release this report?

The Chairman recently told Axios the report would be out by next month, “before” the November election. (The initial timeline has also shifted, so it’s possible the date will slide later.)

But under law, the Committee must release a report by the end of its investigation. Its members have repeatedly said they intend to release a detailed report in the Fall. So I want you to know, you are ordering a forthcoming book, and we can’t predict the government’s timeline. (We can’t predict much of anything in the news!)

But there will be a report.

History suggests these reports can be quite influential. That’s why I leaned into this opportunity to lay out the wider case for the coup conspiracy, in a potentially historic publication, and maybe play a small part in confronting the democracy crisis of our time.
